The Nairn River Community Council (NRCC) represents the heart of our town, the people who live, work, and care about the Nairn River area. We are a group of local volunteers who work together to make sure the voices of residents are heard and reflected in the decisions that shape our community’s future.

Our role is to listen, support, and act on the issues that matter most to local people. From planning and development to transport, the environment, and public services, we aim to ensure that Nairn River continues to be a vibrant, safe, and inclusive place for everyone. We work closely with Highland Council, local organisations, and community groups to raise awareness, share information, and influence change where it’s needed most.
