Costs to run THC are increasing massively not least to pay for the senior officers. The CEO, as can be seen and calculated, has a huge salary compared to that of the average Highland salary – (£33000 and Scotland £39000). None of the other senior officers are shy at coming forward to take their pay either. Just so you know.
The amount of debt that Councils have incurred is staggering too, interesting to note the percentage that THC has of that total. No spoilers from us and comparisons can be made against all the other 31 Councils in Scotland.
