Relining All Markings and Yellow Box Markings through Town including side road closures
Traffic light upgrades
SSEN Cabling
Gas Mains
BT and Openreach
Transport Scotland / Amey Coring the roads including the road bridge
And of course Scottish Water at Lochloy Road and elsewhere The A96 will be reduced to single lanes in several places at several times
Why have all these amenities all decided to all do their work all in the same short time-frame? From the experience of the many people I have spoken about with this – not the happy/clappys as they have been described to me – they will “just use their bikes”- Nairn will revert to tailback central again. What are the Haulier Companies; Buses; Emergency Vehicles; Carers Local businesses (Plumbers; Joiners; Deliveries; Taxies etc) going to do when caught up in this hour long tailbacks?
